quality EVA closed cell foam. All of our blocks are produced with state
of the art computer fabrication to insure total quality. The Deluxe
Kayak Kit includes everything you will need to safely transport one
kayak. We included two polypropylene over-hull straps and bow and stern
lines to insure a safe transport for your boat and fellow drivers on
the road.
A good car carrier for kayaks 
We have an inflatable kayak (tandem) and wanted a car top carrier so as
not to have to inflate it every time. I only wanted it for short trips.
This is a very well made product and it is easy to use. It keeps our
kayak from touching the hot roof of the car, if you place it properly.
Unfortunately, while in Florida, the roof of the car was very, very hot
in the sun. Sometimes the rubber surface on the bottom of the foam
blocks melts a bit on the roof and leaves a smear on the roof. They are
not scratches, just annoying smears that are difficult to remove later.
I suggest you try to have the car in the shade before placing the kayak
with the blocks on the roof. A good product indeed!
